From the central square take the paved path passing through the south side of Metsovo leading to the valley of Metsovitikos close to the road corssing from Prosilio (Metsovo) to Anilio. Here we find the late Byzantine monastery of Agios Nikolaos, the Bishop of Myra in Lycia. The guardian of the monastery is always there and ready to offer assistance and appropriate hospitality to visitors.
