Kriton Iroon square
The “Kriton Iroon” (Cretan Heroes) square in Metovo is named in honour of the Cretan volunteers of the Balkan Wars that liberated the city of Metsovo under the leadership of Stylianos Kleidis. A marble bust of Stylianos Kleidis is placed in the square.
