Cretan Heroes Monument
The monument was built in honor of the Cretan volunteers that fell during the liberation of Metsovo from the Turks in 1913, and is located at Profitis Ilias in Metsovo. The Municipality, city institutions and Cretan organizations perform annual events commemorating the fallen Cretan heroes.
