The ski center at “Karakoli" was created in 1966. It is just 2km away from the center of Metsovo. Its altitude ranges from 1,340m to 1,520 m and it offers three ski slopes of 2.2 km length, an aerial lift and artificial snow systems. The skiing difficulty level varies so as to suit the needs of both novice and expert ski lovers.

The ski lift is equipped with 82 single seats. Both skiers and visitors are able to use the ski lift to simply walk around and enjoy the scenery. At the ski lift basis, a cafeteria and a snack bar operate.

The ski center offers the opportunity to rent equipment, vehicles and snow mobiles while a skiing school is also available. The operation period is December to February.
